We are committed to the preservation and promotion of indigenous American music. It is our goal to assist seasoned and upcoming Zydeco, Blues and Jazz artists locate performances around the world in order to gain exposure. Anytime you call on us to book and promote your event, no matter what size, it means we give 110% to ensure its success.

What is Zydeco?

The word has several meanings. In relationship to music, it is the traditional dance music of the Black Creoles of Southwest Louisiana. Zydeco music is faster and more syncopated than Cajun music. Heavily influenced by Afro-Caribbean sounds, Zydeco draws on blues, rhythm and blues, soul, funk and other urban styles. It's syncopated rhythms appeals to audiences around the world and is rapidly evolving and moving into mainstream music. Zydeco can be heard on radio and TV commercials as well as Hollywood film. The line up for a Zydeco band consists of: Accordion (piano or button) ; Frottoir (Mainly called a Rubboard or Scrubboard. This instrument is a corrugated steel washboard style vest "scrubbed" with spoons or bottle openers.) ; Electric Guitars and Drums. Horns and Keyboard are optional. Everyday young people are jumping on the Zydeco bandwagon and taking the music to a new level. With all of this going on, it is no wonder that Zydeco music is here to stay.
